“ AN ELEGANT MIXTURE OF TANGO, CLASSICAL AND JAZZ." With the release of their debut album, OBSESSION, an experiment with classical strings and jazz rhythms, this group has arrived in style. Early in 2007, Obsessions Octet received a Juno Nomination for Contemporary Jazz Album of the Year. Then just a few months ago were honored to receive a 2007 Western Candian Music Award for Outstanding Jazz Recording. The response from the jazz community has been tremendous and with that the group is preparing to go back into the studio for their sophomore recording.
